SRS Warning Light Reset
The SRS warning light can often come on as a result of an electrical irregularity such as changing a car battery. If this is the case and there is no other reason that the light has activated then the light can be easily reset using a paperclip, yep that's it, just a paperclip.
The paperclip should be folded to a u shape and you will use it as a jumper switch. the procedure is as follows.
Locate the yellow two pin plug under the dash near the steering wheel column. It is connect to a yellow wire, My one had Seimens written on the wire. The plug is fixed to a bracket attached to the metal frame the location is shown in the first picture, it is under this point. Prize the bracket from the frame (push the flaps in on three sides should be enough) and just leave the plug hanging. Do not try to dismantle the plug.
Insert your paper clip into the pin holes to complete the circuit between the pins.
Turn the ignition ON. Wait the SRS light should go out after 4 seconds.
Immediately remove the paperclip. Wait 4 seconds. The SRS light should come back on.
Immediately reinsert the paperclip. Wait 4 seconds. The SRS light will go off.
Remove the paperclip. Wait 4 seconds. The light will come back on.
Reinsert paperclip. And the SRS light will flash twice. All done. Remove paperclip.
THEN turn OFF ignition.
